Domo Minasan! It's been one busy busy year hasn't it? Both I and team 7 have been put through the ringer and I must say I have spent my share of time staring at the lights from my hospital bed. But I have not forgotten all those who are here, so starting early next year, I'll be back with a lot of updates, but for now have a safe and happy holiday and I will see you all soon (after I finish reading all my icha icha's I got for X-mas! I know they are all the same, but they are all new)! Till then i leave everyone with this!

New York Ninja hits 50,000!

I know you’ve all been wondering what have I been up to, and what was I doing in New York. Just to let you in on some of my missions... I was recently summoned to the Big Apple by an interesting client who deals with very strange goods.

Upon my arrival I was a little surprised when I discovered that one of the clients was poo ::ehem:: literally. However despite his rather unpleasant smell…I found him to have a rather pleasant personality. He definitely fell into my top 10 most interesting clients list. Here he is sporting a Konoha headband!

Aside from my escort mission, l also attended an International Order of Ninjas, aka ION conference, on behalf of the leaf village, where I was given the honor of “Ninja of the Year”! I couldn't believe it! It was such a surprise! There are so many great shinobi out there that are just as deserving of this honor as I am. But a big thank you goes out to ION for that. I would also like to thank everyone who visits my blog. WE JUST HIT 50,000 views!

Lastly after the conference, I was approached by some chocolate company who wanted to do an ad campaign based on my years in Anbu, I must say it was um interesting but I must decline because from this point on missions are about to get intense! But i think you guys may get a laugh out of this as much as I did and I know Naruto would die laughing!

Sorry about the long absence! The missions have been non-stop!
I just got back from one in New York. It's Spider-Man Week there, and I ran into an old friend!

New York was great tho I still can't seem to find "American" Versions of Icha Icha... sigh, Anyways, I couldn't help but to use my sharigan to see if I can copy any of Spidey's abilties. It yeilded some interesting results!

I really have no clue why the technique made my suit turn black, but in anycase Spidey and I had a kick he gave me some goodies and the whole web out of the hand thing wasn't working, but I will admit his ability to use his Chakara to stick to walls have improved alot since academy days! I'll have more on my special missions next week and then it will be back to Konoha shortly after that!

Great to be back and hope you guys haven't been to lonely!

Well dear me I couldn't resist but extend my thanks to all who made this blog an amazing experience, although I still am out on training missions till mid February, I had to put this image up! While on assignment in the states, I came up across a unique type of Copy Ninja, so being a Copy Ninja myself I decided to SNJ my own Kinko's Copy Ninja. Kakashi on Short Hiatus from Blog

Hello everyone! I want to apologize to the readers for the lack of updates. Unfortunately, Kakashi has been very busy carrying out missions. No worries though!!! He’ll be back in February with some fun new surprises!!

Also, I want to inform the readers who live in the United States that Kakashi is going to be in Washington, D.C. from February 16 through February 18 for "Katsucon"! So be sure to look out for him if you're going!

65th Entry: Saskue and Kakashi Return!

Kakashi-san and Saskue are back!
Looks like the two got back just in the nick of time, and what an entrance it is. WOW! Now it's time for the fight everyone has been waiting for! The whole arena is on fire! I've never heard anything this loud since way back when...(I forget).

Gaara versus Uchiha Saskue! Is about to start! Though if I had to fight Gaara I think I would forfeit...that kid scares me alot.
Just a moment ago Naruto and Shikamaru ran over and told me to check out the hallway on the middle teir. What I found was gruesome (please beware this is very graphic...)

It's pretty gross. They told me that Gaara did this as he was walking towards the match at hand. He just killed two guys from the land of grass without lifting a finger. (Reports from ANBU confirms that they were gamblers and grifters who rig matches, so i don't feel too bad. But still its pretty grusome). Now I am really worried. It also seems something is going down in the Stadium as well, there are a few ANBU grouped here, I need to go see what this is... Anyways, now that Kakashi is back, I am sure he'll keep everyone up to speed. (At least he knows how to use his PDA/Camera).

Third Round Round Up!

I am at the stadium and in the stands reporting the situation as things happen! (I've been a little slow, still trying to figure how these stupid new PDA/Camera things work).

The 3rd round has begun! And we started out with a terrific battle! Uzumaki Naruto vs Hyuuga Neji!
Naruto won in an amazing upset over Neji. No matter how many hits Neji landed Naruto just kept on fighting. He showed some amazing strength, stamina, and smarts! The only picture I got from this match was this amazing technique Naruto mastered! (He kindly did it for me again after the match)! To think a genin can pull this off!

The next match was suppose to be Gaara from the Sand village vs. Uchiha Sasuke, but Kakashi and Sasuke are still no where to be found. And for some reason the Hokage decided to delay the match till the end. So the following match became Kankuro from the Sand village vs. Aburame Shino, but in a surprising turn of events Kankuro forfeited the match. So Shino won by default. Right after that it was Nara Shikamaru vs Temari also from Sand. Now this was an interesting match. A battle of strategists it seemed. Even though Shikamaru lost by giving up in the end (I have no idea why, he WON)!, he showed some very mature skills for a shinobi his age. He is someone to keep an eye on, he may oneday make a good feild leader.

So that's it for now, everyone is waiting to see if Sasuke shows up. As I look around here everyone is getting restless.

Troublesome Days in Konoha

I just want to apologize for delays on our end, it seems that someone's been tampering with our systems here at the Hokage's office. A few nights back we found a small set of explosion notes hidden in the office. It took a while to make sure any and all traps were removed. Thankfully everything is now back up running smoothly.
So thank you all, for your patience!

It seems like Kakashi has gone missing again. Pakkun told me that he's off training Sasuke. The thing is the third round of the Chuunin exams are about to begin and no one has heard from them! Some folks are a bit concerned. Personally, I just think Kakashi is just going to be late again. I just hope not too late, or Sasuke will risk being disqualified from the match.

Things are really hopping in Konaha right now. Orochimaru resurfacing, and the Chuunin exams, all the delegates from other countries including the Kazekage from the Sand Village all in Konoha. Security and ANBU troops are stretched thin. Everybody is working hard to keep Konoha running smoothly. But too many strange events have been going on. I have to agree with Kakashi-san in an earlier post that something big is gonna happen. If anybody and anybody sees anything suspicious report it directly to our Jounins and ANBU squads. (I have also included a pic just in case you don't know what our ANBUs look like).

If your lucky you'll be able to aproach one of them. But if not please just go to our Jounins, and official security.

55th Entry: Training...

In light of recent events, I've started a new rigorous training regimen. I fear I may have gotten a bit soft in the last year. Especially after the run in I had with Kabuto. I've joined Gai for his morning workout sessions starting last week. It's intense and a bit over the top, however, training with Gai isn't enough...

I've decided add rock climbing to my training as well. It's been a very long time since I've done so and I must admit it really showed. *Sigh*, I had trouble just getting over some of the rougher parts of the mountain which if it had been five or six years ago would have been a piece of cake.

Sasuke finally decided to join me, so we can begin his training for the final round of the Chuunin exams. It's going to be a ruff couple of weeks but we'll both come out stronger in the end. Okay well, breaks over! Sorry this one had to be short, I'll see everyone once training is complete!

54th Entry: R.I.P. Hayate Gekkou

Things have been hectic here lately in Konoha, we have had several attempts of blog tampering from outside sources (possibly the Sound). But since then a few events have occured and one which saddens me alot, and that is the passing of Hayate Gekkou, something is a midst here and I have to find out what is going on, and I have a feeling Kabuto is involved... So for now i leave you these images to remember Hayate by.

I just wanted to say that I hope everyone had a happy Halloween. I also wanted to apologize on Kakashi's behalf. He's been training so much lately no one sees him anymore! However, yesterday I was lucky enough to bump into kakashi while in costume and Konoha Cop snapped this picture for me~

53rd Entry: Jiraiya

Well it looks like my assumptions were correct. Ebisu just confirmed with me that the Leaf Village's Jiraiya has returned to the Fire Country looking for Orochimaru. The situation seems to be more serious then I had expected. I may have to train myself in order to prepare for what's to come. In anycase Jirarya's timely appearance turned out to be quite favorable for Naruto-kun. Seems like those two have developed a sort of liking to each other and from what I've heard from the third it also looks like those two have a couple of things in common. I have a pretty good feeling only good things will come from this (and.... maybe just maybe, I can get Naruto to get me a signed copy of Icha Icha Paradise, or even better... a sneak at his next, very highly anticipated, novel !!!~♡~!!!). *Ehem*, after the important things are dealt with of course.

Well I'm off, I need to prepare a couple of things...

52nd Entry: Ebisu the Specialist

Ohhhhhh, sorry for being late...

Today I went to meet with Naruto at the hospital and as I approached the reception desk, Naruto saw me and asked me to personally train him for the final round of the chuunin exams. He got angry when I told him I was too busy with other things to train him personally. But, in anycase I have arranged for a specialist to work with him. So he needn't worry... His name is Ebisu and he's an elite Jounin teacher who specializes in the basics of Chakra Control, which Naruto needs lots of.

It seems that the two have met before, the second Naruto saw him he was going on about defeating him or something... I have no idea what he was talking about. Basically Naruto was not happy about this. Although Ebisu being a closet pervert? Interesting I'll have to tease Ebisu later about that.

I tried to explain to Naruto that out of the three, he was the one with the worst basic skills. And Ebisu would be the best suited to teach him preparation for the final rounds. So I asked him to please trust me and listen to Ebisu.
Ebisu's a bit of a stiff, but still a very good teacher. Naruto can use the discipline, and I am sure it will make him stronger. Just as long as he hangs in there and listens to him. Now I have a bit of training I must do for myself before I can move on to work with Saskue and train him for the final round.

P.S. Oh yea I followed up on Ebisu and Naruto a bit, and little Konohamaru gave me this interesting pic (which I will post here). Looks like Naruto did beat him with his original "Oiroke no Jutsu" (which I have copied ^_^;). Hmm It also seems there has been a pervert peaking into women's hot springs. Interesting~ Well anyways here are the pics!

I really have no idea how they found those Icha Icha PJ's! I especially liked the signed copy of Icha-Paradise Volume 1 Super Premium Edition from Ebisu, I never realized he was into this stuff. I'll ask him more later when I meet with him for some buisness.

Along with my birthday, I just realized that ONE YEAR has passed since I started this blog. So much has happened!
This was my 1st year having students and I must say Naruto, Saskue, and Sakura are all an important part of my life now. They have grown so much and I am very proud to have such an excellent team! There is so much to look forward to. Although ruff waters are ahead, I feel together, as a team, we will be able to overcome any obstacle and achieve greater heights. I would also like to thank everyone who has helped in making this blog a success! All of your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated! And of course to all the fans who visit and leave comments, arigatou! and keep them coming!

Of Rock and Sand...

The 9th match of the prelims was Gaara from the Sand village vs. Rock Lee, Gai's student. Rock Lee, according to Gai, has absolutely no ninjsutu or genjustu skills at all. Being Gai's specialty, he trained Lee to be a taijustu only expert. Pushing the limits of what one can do with the human body. Gai is a man of extremes and sometimes he tends to take things pretty far with his unorthodox training methods. In Lee's case it both benefitted and hurt him at the same time. This kid really has some heart, he kinds of reminds me of Naruto sometimes.

As for Gaara, he uses sand from his gourd that protects him and acts as a barrier. None of Lee's initial attacks worked until he dropped what seemed to be hundreds of pounds of weights hidden in his leg-warmers, whoa... After that his speed increased dramatically. Lee's taijustu skills was truly amazing, it was so fast that he beat the sand shield and landed several blows to what seemed to be an impenetrable defense. It looked for a while that Lee had the advantage. Unfortunately that was not the case. Along with the sand from his gourd, Gaara had sand covering his entire body acting as armor, Gaara retaliated with a barrage of sand attacks that drove Lee down a dangerous path in an attempt to defeat him.
Lee used the primary lotus which puts an enormous amount of strain on the body. But when Gaara was unaffected by that, he went on to open five of the eight celestial inner body gates in order to perform the Extreme Lotus. Why did Gai teach such a dangerous technique to that boy i'll never know. Furthermore how can someone so young actually pull it off? That kid really is a genius. Unfortunately for Lee, Gaara survived the extreme lotus and then completely crushed Lee's left arm and leg using his sand jutsu. Right after Gaara attempted to kill Lee, Gai jumped in, ending the match. (Hang in there kid).

The most gut wrenching sight had to be watching Lee's unconscious body, still standing, through sheer willpower, trying to fight on. This completely tore Gai apart to see his student like this. And what's worse, according to the medic, Lee was so badly injured that he will not be able to continue his life as a shinobi.
I can understand now why Gai did what he did, I probably would done the same if I were in his situation, I'm going to have to take Gai out for some sake later... Since I was wrong in judging his teaching.

The last round of preliminaries finished quickly. It was Chouji from Asuma's squad vs. Dosu from the Sound village. Choji collided with a wall and it was over. Right after the match, I went to check on Saskue at the hospital. Arriving there I found the ANBU I left guarding Saskue all dead. And a genin named Yakushi Kabuto in the room. I asked him what he was doing there and what he wanted with Saskue. And when I brought up Orochimaru, he claimed that there was no way to prove that he had any connection to him. He was being a smart ass which ticked me off a bit. I pushed a little harder to get some information out of him but but he outsmarted me and escaped, jumping out the hospital window. I'm not 100 percent sure what Kabuto's intentions were, but one thing is for certain. If he is working for Orochimaru, things are going to get bad...

That's it for now, I have some investigating to do.

Back from mission! Preliminary matches update!

Yo mina-san! With decent bed time and lots of Icha Paradise, I've finally recovered from the previous mission. Because a lot has happened since let's get right back into what's going on. Naruto was in a pretty tough match against Inuzuka Kiba but, he has really grown since the exams has begun. Not only has he gotten physically stronger but he also showed ingenuity and smarts by using Kiba's own justus against him in battle.

Now that I’ve said all the good things about Naruto I think I can go into telling you that he won because he passed some gas. I’m not trying to negate what I just said about him because it's all true. However, in this particular fight you just can’t leave out the fact that his unexpected “breaking-of-the-wind” aided him in his victory by giving him an opening to attack Kiba with his new technique, Uzumaki Naruto Combo, which was surprisingly similar to Sasuke's move from before (ha.. everything about his move was a copy including the name… yet who am I to talk ^.~).

Fart or no fart, I am very proud of Naruto. He has so much potential and the greatest strength (the greatest strength does that fit at this moment?) even though he might not know it yet.

This fight was followed by what was probably the worst match-up's possible. Hyuuga Hinata versus Hyuuga Neji. Although they are related there is a lot of hate that exists on Neji’s end. The Hyuuga family is the oldest, most elite clan in Konoha. However, despite of all this… or maybe I should say that because of this they are a divided house. Hinata, is a member of the main branch and Neji is part of the secondary branch. It is because of this that Neji is resentful.

The Hyuuga Clan, like the Uchiha, also possess a bloodline limit known as Byakugan. Byakugan exceeds the ability of the Sharingan as far as insight. It enables one to see the Chakra Circulatory System, also known as Tenketsu, that exists within a person. This, coupled with the Hyuuga’s special hand-to-hand combat called "The Gentle Fist" or Juken enables one to cause direct damage to the chakra circulatory system and internal organs. The smallest blow can be lethal.

The power of the Hyuuga is an amazing thing to witness, albeit in this situation it was not. Neji who was clearly superior at using Hyuuga’s fighting style, managed to completely stop Hinata’s chakra flow. Most believed that the fight was over but Hinata kept going. She didn’t give up despite all of her injuries. It was ugly til the very end when Gai, Kurenai, Hayate and I had to jump in order to stop Neji from killing Hinata.

After it was over Hinata was in Critial Condition and had to be taken to the emergency room immediately. Naruto who had been cheering for her the entire time was furious. He wiped some of Hinata’s blood off the floor and swore to her that he would win against Neji in a fight.

Now that these two fights are over, there are just 4 more genin left including that boy from sand... who I have a bad feeling about.

Team Kakashi out on missions!

Sorry I'm late, a black cat crossed my path...um well actually all of Team Kakashi has been extremely busy!

What's Kakashi doing here???

I was digging around some records at the ninja registration office and I found this unlabeled videotape.
It seems some time back Kakashi-san took part in some ninja exchange program. He stayed in some place called New Jersey, United States. Anyways after more digging I fond it was actually an S class infiltration mission to assassinate a fake "Ask a Ninja" apparently he is quite famous in the western area of that country. Here is part of the footage I could find...

43rd Entry: Weapons in the Wind...

After the end of Sakura and Ino's battle there was another kunoichi match-up: Tenten, of Team Gai, and Temari, of the Sand Village.

Tenten specializes in weapons, therefore it was only natural that her first attack involved a barrage of shuriken all aimed for Temari. Surprisingly, every single one missed her. This was totally out of character for Tenten as her aim is impeccable. Gai suggested that something made Tenten miss on purpose. It turned out that Temari deflected the shuriken away with a large fan. Tenten resumed to fighting using her weapon techniques, but nothing proved to be effective. As her last resort she performed Soushouryu (Rising Twin Dragons).

I heard from Gai later that she was saving this technique for the final part of the Chunnin exam. Unfortunately, Temari was able to block it completely. She then sent a gust of wind that pulled Tenten up into a mini tornado full of chakra. The fight was put to a violent end when Tenten fell out of the air and on to Temari’s metal fan. It was rather painful to watch. The Genin from the Sand village are definitely a formidable and cold group...

This match was followed by Nara Shikamaru versus Kin Tsunchi. Shikamaru was always a pretty lazy kid without any stand out qualities, he's just quiet and likes to blend in. Despite all this, Shikamaru used his surroundings and very keen observations to layout an extremely advanced plan to defeat his opponent. Combined with his families unique abilities, The Kage Mane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Technique), it was a quick win for him (..and some what amusing). I see why Azuma plays "Shogi" with him all the time.

It's days like this that really bring out the competitive spirit in people. Rock Lee has been jumping around for the last few minutes anxious to fight (so is Naruto). Man, Lee is really is like Gai when he was young. sigh...

42nd Entry: Sakura Blooms

Sakura and Ino have been giving their all.
Sakura shows off some very clever basic battle techniques. She combines normal replication techniques and chakra to boost her speed to confuse and hit Ino. Very nice. Her ability to circulate Chakra throughout the entire body and use it at the right time is top notch. Naruto and Sasuke could learn a thing or two from her.
At this point it looks like Ino and Sakura are evenly matched. They have been fighting for 10 minutes. Sakura continues with her taunting and Ino is enraged to the point that she cuts off her hair and throws it towards Sakura. Ino then decides to use the Mind Transfer Technique to make Sakura give up.
This is a risky decision. The Mind Transfer Technique is a technique in which the user releases his/her mind energy and hits the enemy with it to control the opponent’s mind for a few minutes. Although a powerful technique it has a weakness, mind energy travels slowly in a straight line which leaves openings. If the user misses the mind energy won’t return to the user for a few minutes prohibiting the user from moving. All Sakura has to do to win, is to simply dodge it. If Ino misses Sakura can basically beat her into a pulp.

Sakura runs and Ino performs the Mind Transfer Technique. It misses and Ino falls to the floor. Sakura walks towards Ino but Sakura is tied down by a string filled with Chakra. Ino was only pretending that she formed the seal to lure Sakura into the trap. The string is a special string made by running Chakra through the hair she threw on the ground. Now that Sakura can’t move, Ino performs the Mind Transfer Technique and it hits Sakura. The technique succeeded. Things looked bad.

Ino has now taken over Sakura’s mind. It seems as though this battle is over. Ino raises her hand to make Sakura give up.
Naruto yells at Sakura to tell her to stop. Suddenly Ino, who is still inside Sakura, is in pain. It seems Sakura's mind is fighting Ino. She can’t take it and returns to her own body. Now this is not an easy feat, one can’t easily kick out the user. It's true that Ino’s Chakra was limited but Sakura's spirit and will power was stronger. And that spirit was awakened by Naruto’s voice as he was yelling at her at the time from the balcony.
Now it will all come down to brute force..

Both are exhausted. one more hit will decide the outcome. Sakura and Ino both run and punch each other. They hit each other’s face simultaneously and they both pass out. Double KO. That's is a 1st. Asuma and I pop down and get bring the two back up to the balcony so they can rest. All in all, I am very proud of Sakura. I really feel that it was a good decision for me to have them take part in the exams this year. She really has grown far beyond my expectations.

The preliminaries continue with a quick yet interesting match between Kankurou, of the sand, and Tsurugi Misumi, of Hidden Leaf Village. Kankurou is a puppet master who uses his chakra to control a marionette. This is a pretty rare skill. It has been such a long time since I have seen someone use it in action. During the fight, I overheard Naruto say that prelims were full of “weirdo's”. Ha, like he should talk... After Kankuro won, the match ended and the board displayed the participants selected for the next match. Sakura looked up in shock as the sign read "Sakura Haruno versus Ino Yamanaka".

This fight proved to be an indispensable lesson for everyone. One of the most important and defining characteristics of a true shinobi is having the self-control to set all emotions aside in order to get the job done successfully. Possessing strong feelings can cloud ones capacity of making logical decisions during a mission. This can lead to serious outcomes like death of oneself…or worse, one's teammates.

As far as I’m concerned Ino and Sakura both fail in this category. At the fight's onset it was already clear that this was not a fight between shinobi, it was a fight between friends. It was childish and everyone in the crowd saw it. At one point Ino actually resorted to smacking Sakura (フフフ~). However, as juvenile as this was it actually ended up getting Sakura into the mindset that she should have been in in the first place. I saw the willingness to fight in her eyes as she put on her Konoha headband. It looks like Team Seven’s flower is about to bloom...

40th Entry: Darkness Looms

Things have gone from bad to worse, Orochimaru showed up while I was performing the Sealing Jutsu on Sasuke's Cursed Seal. It seems he has plans for Sasuke and I must admit I am disturbed by this. I've reported to the Hokage's office and have been instructed to inform about this unexpected turn of events. Stay on guard, he is in the nearby area..

Orochimaru mentioned that he is envious because I possess a "Sharingan Eye", or more so the "Uchiha Clan's Sharingan Eye", and the powers it holds. Orochimaru also mentioned he was the one who created the "Hidden Village of Sound" to slowly build his position. Clearly his goal is to overthrow the "Hidden Leaf Village" and gain power. How Sasuke plays into this I am not sure, but it seems as though Orochimaru plans to use him as his trophy pawn.

At this point in the conversation I figured the only way I could stop him is with "Chidori". I will not let him get one of my team members. Without a single flinch, Orochimaru laughs at me and explains that neither my seal nor my powers can stop the path that Sasuke has begun because Sasuke is an avenger and that no matter what, in time Sasuke will seek him out to gain more power. It seems Orochimaru has been keeping an eye on the Uchiha for quite some time now.

For the first time in a long while I saw my own death. His words echoed in my head "...that is unless you kill me like you just said you would. Go ahead and try if you can." Before I could react he was gone... The Legendary San-Nin are to be feared...

...As for Sasuke, I dropped him off at the infirmary and have stationed ANBU to keep watch. I'll keep an eye out back at the main test area, it sounds like Shino from Kurenai's squad has defeated one of the Sound Ninja.

39th Entry: Uchiha versus The Cursed Seal

The first participants of the preliminary exam were Sasuke and Yoroi Akadou. In Sasuke’s current state, Yoroi is not exactly what you would call an ideal opponent. Yoroi has a special ability that allows him to suck out chakra by using his hands. Because the curse seal also sucks chakra, Sasuke could lose his life simply by activating Sharingan. Despite of this, I did not feel like it was necessary to stop him from participating in the preliminaries. I believe in my students and I understand their willing to compete, especially Sasuke.

As soon as the fight began it was clear that Sasuke was having difficulty. The situation was getting worse and worse by the second. Just when it looked like it could have been it for Sasuke, he pulled out the "Shadow Dance Technique,” a move that, surprisingly enough, belonged to Gai (Sasuke must of have copied from Rock Lee when they fought just before the start of the Chuunin Exam).

Although Sasuke did win this match, I am taking it as my responsibility to do what I can about the Curse Seal. I have set up an area to perform Fuuja Houin (Evil Suppressor). Hopefully this will prevent it from doing any more harm than it already has.

On a sidenote, Gai told me that Sasuke reminded him of how I used to be in my younger days. Although I usually disregard Gai’s comments due to his sheer eccentricity, I couldn’t help but agree with him on this one… go figure.

38th Entry: Chuunin preliminary matches

Now that the Hokage has finished his announcement, another Jounin, Gekkou Hayate steps in to explain that there will be preliminary matches starting immediately to see who gets to advance to the Third Exam’s main battle because there are still too many examinees left.

Due to a time limit within the 3rd exam, the excess of examinees can not continue as it is. The preliminaries will be one-on-one battles. Hayate starts off by letting any examinees who want to quit do so now so that they can begin with the preliminary match immediately. While the rest of the explanation is going on, I notice that Sasuke is in pain, from the new cursed scar on his neck.
The Hokage and Anko notices as well. Anko suggests that Sasuke should be taken out of the exam and be escorted out by ANBU. I tell Anko that it won’t be so easy to convince Sasuke to quit, he's quite a stubborn kid. Anko replies that she will take him out by force if necessary, because the cursed seal is reacting when Sasuke tries to mold Chakra, extracting energy from him. She is amazed by how Sasuke can withstand the cursed seal so well because a normal person would have died.
The Hokage decides to let Sasuke continue because he is worried about Orochimaru’s warning to not end the exam. he continues to say that if the cursed seal acts up and Sasuke’s power is uncontrollable, then he will be stopped.
Hayate continues that there will be 10 matches and the winners will advance to the next round. There are no rules. The examinee wins when their opponents dies, is knocked out, or gives up. If the judge sees that the match is over, he will stop the match to prevent unnecessary deaths. The bulletin board will randomly determine who will fight in the match and as it starts the first names that appear is Yoroi versus Sasuke. (great...)
Ah... Just as we all left the grounds to watch from the balcony, I passed Sasuke and and warned him not to use the Sharingan, and if the cursed seal becomes active, I told him I will jump in and cancel the match.

I hope Sasuke doesn't try anything stupid and risk his neck literally. Hope this goes well...
For now all I can do is stand here and watch... and somebody tell me why is Gai still on fire... *sigh*

37th Entry: 2nd Exam Completed. The Rookie 9 Pass!

Hey Guys before I write this blog, I'll be off on assignment at a con in the land of NJ!

Ok on with my report!
The second exam is finally over. A total of 21 genins passed. And it seems as though the rookie 9 have ALL passed as well! This is Excellent! For Asuma, Kurenai, and myself its a proud moment. We proved the other jounin teachers wrong in their assumptions that our students were to green to make it this far in the exam...
Iruka went off in the Hokage's office at all of us for nominating them, and Guy as well! He made the argument that the students still needed to "Blossom with more fiery ferocity of youth explosion first before taking the exam", whatever that means.
Wow, it really makes me smile to see Gai squirm around and go crazy like he does sometimes.
I do wonder what he is thinking. Just a little. I think its just best if I ignore him for now. Or he's just going to challenge to to do something ridiculous. I can just see him out of the corner of my eye, just shaking his fist. LOL!

Well, now the students have been told about the true nature of the Exam. I already explained it in another post, if you do not know you can check HERE!

Some of Genins were not happy about this bit of news. And its understandable. But as Lord Hokage explained, this is a vital and necessary thing to do in order to uphold and protect the prestige of which ever country they are from. It's a show of power. And the way each ninja villages brings funds into the economy. If we show weakness then we will not get the clients needed to keep us running. "The strength of the country is the strength the village. The strength of the village is the strength of the shinobi. And a shinobi's true strength is born only thru battle."

Well now let just see how the this will all turn out... Geez I hope Guy would just stop glowing over there...

36th Entry: My morning off...

Well I enjoyed a nice morning off today, and since I still had a few more yen left over from my "Extra Missions." I decided to go to the new "Konoha Ringo Store" and see about perhaps getting a new laptop.

They have these new ones that now come in black! Very very nice! Perfect for those stealth missions and matches most of my wardrobe! I really like the little camera they have built in on these new ones. I messed around with it for a while and got some neat pics. They are pretty funny so I decided to share one of them for the sake of sharing.

After leaving there, I was hungry. So I figured I would go to my favorite food cart near the book store called Mr.C.
Sadly, it was closed. So I was denied Salt-Broiled Saury I was craving. Maybe I'll just go to the Ramen Shop near the school.

It's almost time for me to head over to the parade grounds near the office and back to work!
The second chunin exam is about to end. I just got word that my team made it to the tower just in time!
I knew they can do it. I am very proud of them. They have grown so much in the short time now that we have been together as a team. I look forward to greeting them and congratulating them on their accomplishment . Unfortunately they are not out of the woods just yet. There is still one more exam to go, and I heard that Saskue has been injured, more precisely he has been cursed.
According to the higher ups, it seems that my team did indeed run into Orochimaru and that he left a cursed mark on Saskue. Why? I have my suspicions. Which I will not go into until I am sure.
Things have defiantly gotten more troublesome. Naruto is already a handful, with his "special problem" and now Saskue is on Orochimaru's hit list. What will be next? I might be over my head this time...

Well that's it for now time to me to get going, I am already running late!

35th Entry: Some down time...

I just got off patrol and I have a few hours to just relax and catch up on some reading. I am very excited because I have something new to read! (well sort of...he he he) I finally got around to picking up the boxes Konoha_cop had been so nice to hold for me at the office.
Now I am the proud owner of a brand new set of hardcover, limited edition, numbered, and signed copies of the full set of Icha Icha Paradise novels!
All I can say is WOW!! They are amazing! I can't wait to put them on my book case with the rest of my collection of p... books! These books sure did not come cheap either! I had to do a couple of extra-speical overtime missions in order to afford these! Including a few A-Rank missions that almost landed me in the hospital. But I managed to avoid any serious injury. As dangerous as they were, they was ALOT of fun. Unorthodox, but fun! I spent a week running a Host Club while the owners were away. If you have no idea what a host club is you can check it out Here...

It was a very good learning experience... Though so some folks at the Hokage's missions office, (coughkonohacopcough) will never let me live it down. You know what though? It was worth it!!! Every single minute. Maybe if I ever decide to retire from shinobi work I can open up my own place.... hmmmm.

Nah, I love teaching. I wouldn't mind doing that again though, helps me pay for Icha books faster lol...Uh um well, that's it for now. The 2nd exam should be over soon. And I will get to see how my team faired...

34th Entry: Chunnin Exams Update

Greetings all, so all seems to be moving along despite our recent turn of events...
The chuunin exams are continuing. And we unfortunately still have not been able to locate the rogue ninja Orochuimaru. ANBU squads and Speical Jounin's (including Kakashi) have been despatched all over the village and outside the village to keep watch. But it has been very quiet.
Too quiet for my taste, I have to agree with Kakashi-san, something big is going to happen, I just hope everyone is prepared.
In the mean time all we can to is be vigilant and continue doing what we need to do.
Back at Area 44, AKA the "Forest of Death" a good deal of teams have been eliminated. Ninjas from the land of Rain and Grass out of of the running, we even lost a couple of teams from the Leaf, but none of the rookies have flunked out so far. The "Rookie 9" seems to still be going strong. I am sure their Jounin teachers would be proud, but there are still a few more days left in the exam, and anything can happen. Other ninjas are not the only things one should fear in the forest. The forest itself is pretty dangerous and the creatures that live in it can be as deadly if not more deadly then any shinobi. Hell, I wouldn't want to out there myself. It's not picnic for me and I'm a Jounin.

As far as the status of some of the other teams, their have been reports that there was a particularly nasty run in with some of the ninjas from the sound village, but nothing can be confirmed for the moment.
One surprising thing did happen. The record for passing the second exam was broken in a big way. The 3 man cell comprising of Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari of the Sand made it to the tower with both scrolls in just 1 hour and 37 minutes!
That's destroying the previous record by four whole hours! What's even more amazing is that the group seems completely uninjured. It's as if they just took a leisurely stroll. Very strange. If is wasn't for the time time on the security tape, I wouldn't believe it. Though that one kid with the gord on his back I saw on the tape gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Well that's it for now. Hopefully we'll get a report from Kakashi and the others soon.

33rd Entry : Other ninja clans.

Hello all!
Sorry I am late, I have been busy investigating a few things. I'm having some suspicions about some of the recent events. So I have been trying to connect all the dots.
The reappearance of Orochimauru, the chuunin exams, the new ninja clans that have emerged this time around...
Something is up, and I am trying to put my finger on it. I feel they are all connected. Something bad, REAL BAD, is coming down the line. I just hope I can sort this out in time to hopefully prevent some of it.

As you may or may not know the the real purpose of the Chuunin Exam is to confirm the level of the ninja in each adjacent country and try to balance out the power. In other words it a show of strength to see which village is "Top Dog".
This is done this manner so there won’t be any wars. Beforehand whenever on country wanted to show their superiority in manpower, they would do so by declaring war on the rival ninja village. This made things very bloody and messy for many many years.. and in the long wrong didn't really benefit anyone. So when the war finally ended. This "exam" was proposed as an alternate way rank the major ninja clans.

There are 5 major ninja clans. The break down like this right now.

1. Hokage (火影, literally "Fire Shadow", Kage of Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf))
2. Kazekage (風影, literally "Wind Shadow", Kage of Sunagakure (Hidden Sand))
3. Mizukage (水影, literally "Water Shadow", Kage of Kirigakure (Hidden Mist))
4. Tsuchikage (土影, literally "Earth Shadow", Kage of Iwagakure (Hidden Rock))
5. Raikage (雷影, literally "Lightning Shadow", Kage of Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud)

There are other smaller clans here and there but are not consider major players in the ninja community.
Now participating in this years exam are all of these villages and the sound village.
Sound? I never heard about them till recently, as a matter of fact, only in this past year. They are a new village that seemed to pop out of nowhere. Considered a minor player in the exams, they seem to have some connection to Orochimaru. How exactly is what I am trying to find out now. I have not been able to find out many clues. The only thing I was told so far is that he had mentioned them to Anko when she has that initial run in with him in the Forest of Death.
Also it seems my team also ran into the sound.

Happily, I have been informed that my team is doing well and managed thru there run in with them. I have faith that they will do well and pass the exam. I just hope that they don't run into Orochimaru, that would really be a tragedy.

Back to the Villages, and the Sound/Oro connection... So with the the leaf hosting the Chuunin exams security has gotten tight. But on the same note I am not sure that we are properly equipped to handle the mass amount of people showing up for the exams... The Anbu and Police force in Konoha have been scaled back significantly in the last few years. hmmmm....
Well I have to go, I will get to the bottom of this, soon.

32nd Entry: Rookie Kunoichi's

Still waiting for the Hokage to get here. And for word from the outside on the status of things. Now that we know that Orochimaru is at large we are all a bit worried. First reaction was to call a halt to the chunin exams. But Anko has just arrived and just informed that we canot end the exams prematurely, for fear that Orochimaru may try and pull something bad if that happens. All we can do now, is stay on high alert and wait and see.

As far as the exams, we are just about a bit more then a day in. So far we are expecting the 1st groups to arrive in at the tower in a day or so. Many of the teachers are concerned for the "rookie nine" the group of genins who are fresh out of the academy. Some think they are still too young to take part in the chuunin exams, but the Hokage has put the trust in their jounin teachers. Meaning that if they are recommended, then that means they are ready...
Many of the teams are already in battle with other teams from other villages. We picked up this one security shot before the camera was broken by flying shuriken...

Among the "rookie nine", today I want to give you a little info on two particular Kunoichi's (female ninja) Haruno Sakura and Yamanaka Ino.

Ino is Sakura's #1 rival for Sasuke's attention and affection. They have been friends since childhood. Ino's sociable personality has greatly influenced Sakura's once shy and timid self. When not training, Ino can be found tending her family's flower shop.

Thats' about it for now...I must head out and do a security sweep of the tower.
So everyone stay alert! Beware of strange justus!
Orochimaru is a very dangerous ninja, Do not approach if you see him! He can make folks do things and they won't even realize it.

31st Entry: Busy out patrolling...

Yo Everyone!
Many of us Jounins are on high alert due to the investigation now going on in the Forest of Death. I am out in the outskirts of Konoha helping out some of the ANBU on patrol. So I don't have time for a really long post of what's going on. What I will do is leave you with what I think is a fun read. Especially for anyone who might be interested in the day to day tools and practices of a shinobi.

THE KONOHA NINJA GUIDE BOOK: CHAPTER 6
NINJA TOOLS AND THEIR MANY USES

It is very important for all Shinobi to be skilled in a variety of weapons.
Even more so to have a a working knowledge of all sort of weapons of any kind.

Kunai
Most commonly used tool used by all ninjas.
Kunai- This weapon is most often used as a projectile, much like the Shuriken. This weapon looks like a small dagger with a round handle, usually wrapped in cloth for grip, and has a ring at the end so that it can be picked up and thrown by just using one finger. This weapon can also be used as a knife in hand-to-hand combat.

Shuriken
Very small, light throwing stars that contain five points, most often used in conjunction to kunais. These are not normally used to cause heavy damage to the opponent, as the size and weight is not usually enough to kill. They are placed in a small container on the user's hip, just like the kunai, for easy and quick access.

Exploding Notes
An exploding note is a piece of paper that has a spell casted on it that causes it to explode after a certain amount of time. They useful for setting traps by leaving them in places where they will be activated by an enemy. Or attached to projectile items to cause more damage. It can be attacked to just about everything from large object like a rock, a kunai, or even an animal.
NOTE: using exploding notes on animals is frowned upon in the fire village, and should be avoided when ever possible.

Scrolls:
Used for summoning. There are 2 kinds of summoning. One is for objects, such as for extra tools and supplies, and one for summoning living beings. The later requiring some sort of contract with what ever you are trying to summon. This is a very specialized skill.

Katana
Again a basic weapon but in order to use one effectively it required years of discipline and training. Katana's are not used by many jounin and chunnin ninjas. Mostly because they are harder to conceal. they are usually relegated to special operations and ANBU squads.

As there tools are useful there will be times when these items may not be available to you in battle...
Remember a good ninja uses their surrounding to thier benefit in battle...
Anything can be used as a weapon!
No matter how big or small! Think between the lines and you shall never fall in battle...

30th Entry: I have a BAD feeling...

With Konoha_cop out at Area 44 and the ANBU called into action something is up. After receiving these images from Sakura-chan's keitai, I had to get online and use this blog to get other Konoha nin ready and informed. It seems that Team 7 has encountered the false Grass-Nin and they were able to capture and subdue imposter!
Looks like it was Sasuke who took the nin down and pinned her to the tree, and from what I see, by looking at the hands and of this nin that she is not a Grass-Nin or a she at all. See for yourself.

Still quite unsure until I received the third image of this Grass-Nin with half his face burned off and it seems that under the dead nin's face was the eye of a snake...
This is really a problem now. From what I remember, this may be none other then one of Konoha's legendary three... now renegade and been reported as missing for some time now.

His name is OROCHIMARU!
He's a very dangerous and notorious ninja. There is not to much unclassified information I can give out at this time, but listed below is what I can relay. One word of caution. If you are a civilian and you see this person do NOT approach! RUN! Or risk death!

29th Entry: Intruder in the second exam!

Konoha_cop here with some breaking news...
Earlier I was at the tower in training area 44 (The Forest of Death) waiting for Anko when I was informed of some disturbing news. Two of the exam proctors discovered three dead genin, outside of the Exam area, from the Hidden Village of Grass. Upon futher inspection the bodies that were found had their faces taken away.

There is a very good chance that someone in the forest is impersonating these genin. As for what purpose, I am unsure. I have been told that Anko has gone into the forest to find the imposter. Before she had left she ordered ninjas to inform the Hokage and made request for two ANBU squads be sent into the Forest of Death as back up.

I guess that Grass ninja mentioned before isn't who she claimed to be...

It also seems to me as if Anko has some idea on who the impostor is... otherwise why would she ask for the ANBU to back her up?

At the tower, some of the other Jounin and I tried to see if we could spot the impostor thru the security system but it seems that many of the genins have found the cameras we had stationed and took some out in response. That leaves us with blind spots in the exam area. So far we have no idea where the imposter(s) are at this moment.

This is getting troublesome. We can only speculate on what is unfolding. I have a hunch on who might be the intruder, as far fetched as it might sound...it could be . . . sigh I don't want to say it until I'm sure, I just pray that it isn't who I think it is.

27th and 28th Entries: The Second Exam

Greetings!
Now that we have sorted out the whole Kakashi business I think it's about time we head back to our report on the chuunin exam. As I mentioned before the exam is a 5-day no-holds-barred survival competition.

As Mitarashi Anko had explained earlier, this part of the exam works like this:
All of the genins are to enter into a circular region with a tower approximately 10km towards the middle. The competition will be to retrieve two scrolls, the "Scroll of Heaven" and the "Scroll of Earth". Half of the teams will get the "Scroll of Heaven" and the other half will get the "Scroll of Earth”.

Example of the scrolls.
The objective is to fight other teams for their scrolls and bring it to the tower before the allotted time is up (120 hours).

There are two ways that a team can fail:
i. Any team that does not bring both scrolls to the tower intact will fail.
ii. Any team that loses a teammate or produces an unrecoverable teammate will fail.
Also, under no conditions is anyone allowed to open either scroll.

After all this was said and done, the teams lined up at their designated entry points. Anko’s last bit of advice to the students was "don’t die", and then the gates were opened.

It is clear that this exam is set up so that only 1/2 of the teams that are participating will be able to pass. This number can be easily decreased due to the fact that some scrolls will be lost in combat and in the fact that there isn’t obvious way of finding out which team has what scroll, therefore, even if students defeat another team and obtain another scroll, if it is not the scroll they need they will still fail.

Anko and her team of proctors have been keeping a close eye on things that have been going on inside the forest via closed circuit hidden cameras. There seems to me a lot of interesting contenders this year. Five minutes into the exam it was already reported that 3 teams were eliminated. The security team has been particularly interested in one particular ninja from the hidden grass village who has been acting quite odd.

Another interesting team is the team from the Sand village. They are the dark horse in the exam, their village has been going thru some interesting power struggles as of late. This is definitely a group to keep an eye on.

MYSTERY SOLVED! Kakashi@Driving School?!

Well Konoha_Cop here and the mystery has been solved and I got the goodies HAHAHA! After tracking his last transaction using his MasterCard Sharingan on the Sand's Wind Country ATM (Thanks to the evidence from the ad!) Kakashi purchased a train ticket to Hokkaido departing from the Sand Country, Apparently Kakashi wasn't on a relations missions, he went to Hokkaido to learn how to drive HAHAHAHA (I'm a genius!!) Apparently Sandaime-sama had suggested Kakashi try out for a license (probably in hopes of reaching missions sooner and finishing faster, since we are short on shinobi here...) So in secret Kakashi went and... FAILED! Wow this is one for the office, he's gonna kill me I know... But here's the initial file sent back from the remote Konoha driving center.

OMG the great Kakashi failed a test, it seems the Sharingan can't copy the art of driving. I also received some great pics of Kakashi during the test and boy does he looked freaked, he even stopped to ask the instructor if it was a big deal or not. Here are those pics...

Man this is great, well at least it doesn't matter too much if he passed or not but what I do know it probably was a kick in the gut for him. Well at least we know how to cheer him up (ICHA ICHA PARADISE BOOKS)! Three volumes are waiting for him, when he gets back. Only sad thing is Naruto-kun has been so exited to get a ride that he fell asleep in one of the cars here! (Hoping to be the first to get a ride from his Kakashi-Sensei)...

Well in anycase Kakashi will be back by next week and take over this Journal again (thank god! I need a vacation).

I'm getting close to finding out where Kakashi has gone and the Anbu has's set up a security net to try and track him, you can find it HERE!. Anyways found some footage in the Konoha Archives and apparently Kakashi was assigned to do a commercial a while back to promote awareness of the Fire Country and bring in more assignments for the village (since the other countries have been taking alot of A missions away from us). So what I'm thinking is that, he may be out on another peace mission for The Fire Country, man... I wish I could do that but nooo I'm stuck behind a desk twenty four seven. Anyways here's the video...

Man... Kakashi gave us the slip yet again, reports from Konohamaru came in and this is what he sent me!

I told him to get me some surveillance shots of Kakashi and what did I get? A picture "WITH" Kakashi.... ahh... kids. We are getting so close to what's going on, but just not completely there yet. I bet Kakashi's having a blast too. I'm gonna have to talk to Konohamaru and teach him on the art of ninjitsu and "hidden surveillance". Ah the frustration. Anyways back to the latest info from our other scouts, hopefully I'll be able to crack the case soon...

Kakashi under watch!

Greetings!
Hmm looks like Kakashi is out and about somewhere and he won't even report back, Sandaime seems to know what's up, but even he is being a bit vague, keeps saying he went out on a relations mission. We have some surveillance set up and the last location reported was in this inn near the borders of the Leaf Village... Typical Kakashi he seemed to know exactly where the camera's are. Some of us in the investigation unit have been trying to catch a glimpse of his face but yet to no avail. Here are a few pics we got of him... Damn he's quick. In anycase we lost track of him last week, so all we can do now is wait for him to report.

Well back to more paperwork for me and some more investigating, Konoha-maru has been helpful and he's actually out on a field trip on the outer borders with his family, so maybe he'll be able to report in.

26th entry: 1st exam results!

Greetings and Salutations!
Konoha_cop here once again to fill you in on what's happening! Kakashi is away for a few days on a mission. But he will be reporting back to us about it.
I have been assigned to cover the exams and report back the progress of all the new genins!
So now you'll get coverage on all fronts. From the Chuunin exams and what Kakashi is doing when he is not around!!
Let's Begin!
The 1st exam was yesterday. A "written" exam, to test out the whole groups information gathering and coping skills in stressful situations. Surprisingly a high percentage of students actually passed the exam. There are 78 students which means there are 26 teams left, according to proctor of the second exam Mitarashi Anko. In that group were all nine of the rookie genins!
Anko was surprised by the high turnout and comments that Ikibi may not have been hard enough on the students. And according to others present, Anko announced that she is planning to cut those numbers by more than half.

The second exam has been announced to take place starting today at training area number 44.
Also known as the Forest of Death.

As you can see by this file photo it's not a fun place.
It's a 5-day survival exam. No holds barred. I am going got head over to the gates of area 44 now. I'll report back as soon as I have more info!

25th entry: Ibiki the Pro!

Relaxing in the teachers lounge, Kurenai and Asuma came in and we started to chat a bit about the exams. Asuma tells me that Morino Ibiki is the examiner for the first test... Both Asuma and I thought that this could get ugly. Kurunai, only just becoming a Jounin teacher has no idea what we're talking about. Who is this guy, she asks. He's a pro.

We both then explain to Kurunai that Ibiki is a professional torturer and master interrogator. There won’t be any physical torturing at the exam but there will be mental torture. He can through just being in a room with him, create a situation that can make even the most stable mind crack. Why? Because Ibiki is the ANBU’s torture and interrogation squad leader.
Wow, I would hate to be on the receiving end of what he has in store for them. But then again what doesn't kill them will make them stronger! I am kind of curious to see how each of Team 7 will hold. Sakura may break first, but Naruto may plain out just be trouble... As for Sasuke, he may fair quite well.

Well, I just got a note that I have a new short solo mission to go on so that's it for now.

24th Entry: Man's Best Friend!

Yosh~! Now that I have a bit of free time, thought it would be nice for me to talk about someone other then my wonderful team of Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. As you all may know I have other ninja comrades as well that i feel also deserve to be given a bit of praise. That's right, I'm talking about my cute little Nin-Dogs! Those little pooches have gotten me out of plenty of jams, so i would like to give credit to them. All 8 of them having been bread from the best of Nin-Dogs of Konoha! With the enhanced abilities that come naturally to dogs such as sense of smell and hunting abilities, they each have unique skills of their own. One dog particular stands out tho...(This one hates staying in the kennel...)
His name is Pakkun, who is an expert tracker, his nose never lies and for such a little guy, amazingly fast. He does have a bit of an attitude sometimes, I just think he has because he likes to have his way and that's not always the case, and yeah he talks way too much sometimes... I mean he will really chew you ear off. He loves to talk about all the things he's smelled and about how his paw pads are soft and whatnot. It gets a bit odd sometimes... PUNNI PUNNI??? *sigh*

As for the rest of the pack, they usually just show up after I summon them with my "Doton Tsuiga no Jutsu". We usually hang out on days off, but recently been swamped with missions, Naruto can be a hand full. I'll definitely put them up next time~ ^.^v

23rd Entry: Rookie Candidates Begin

Sorry I'm late I ran into a black cat...Um.
Well, I just got back from meeting with my team in front of the entrance to the "Chuunin Exams". All three came freely of their own will, as expected. I was glad, this meant now they can officially register for the exam. When I said this to the three, they were a bit confused.
So I explained that the exam can only be taken in teams of three. I lied to them before because I wanted them to decide individually whether or not they wished to take the exam.
The reasoning was I didn't want any one person pressuring the other to take the exam if that person didn't feel ready. One example being, if Sakura didn’t want to take the exam, Naruto and Sasuke would force her to take it. Or Sakura would take the exam out of guilt for Sasuke and Naruto. I'm proud of my team, they all chose to take the exam on their own free will, so saying that... I let the three enter, wishing them luck along the way. After they entered the exam room and the doors closed behind me, I took a moment to think back on the last few months. It has been a real growing experience for all of us. I hope that they do well in the exams and that they don't get to freaked out by the competition. Just as was I was thinking that. I heard Naruto being his noisy self on the other side of the doors. That made me laugh, I guess I worry to much. Wow, am I getting like Ikura? They'll be fine. Then right there I spotted Konohomaru and his little group yet again... what the heck they were doing? I gave them a good spook and they ran off leaving a camera behind? hmmmm....

22nd Entry : A quiet couple of days...

Morning everyone! It has been a relatively quiet few days. It's nice to have some down time. I went to the clinic yesterday to check up on my wounds. I am pretty much completely healed and some of my stitches were taken out. Then I spent some time with my cute nin dogs Pakkun, Tsume, and the others.
Took them out a good long walk out of down and gave them all a flea bath and cleaned out the kennels. Then in the evening I headed over to the "Pink Store" to see if the new Icha Icha came out yet. But alas, not till next week. I am just going to have to settle with rereading volume 2 again. Instead I picked up some take out ramen and walked back to my apartment for an early turn in. It's been a while since I have had such a quiet day like this. I almost felt guilty.
Well now I have to go turn in some paperwork and head over to meet up with my team to see who decided to take the Chunin exam. This time I don't want to be late! so Ja'ne!!

21st Entry : Chunin exam candidates

Back to the meeting with the Third. The Chunin exams are going to take place in a week and the Third asks all of us (The Jounin teachers) if we wish to enter any of our students into the selection exam.
Any Genin who has completed at least eight missions are eligible to enter.
Yuuhi Kurenai, the 8th squad leader, recommends her three students, Hyuuga Hinata, Inuzuka Kiba, and Aburame Shino. Sarutobi Asuma, the 10th squad leader, recommends his three students, Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru, and Akimichi Chouji. I as the 7th squad leader, recommended, Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto, and Haruno Sakura.
It’s been a few years since rookies have entered into the exam. But I feel that my students will do well, they are strong and I know they can do it. Iruka on the other hand is shocked at all of us for entering any of the new Genin. They used to be students of his and he feels it is too early for them to enter into the exam. Sometimes I think Ikura gets a little to protective of his former students. Especially Naruto. I remind Ikura-san that I became a Chuunin when I was six years younger than Naruto. I do understand where Iruka is coming from, but they are no longer his students, they are my subordinates and I feel otherwise. The Hokage however, thinks that Iruka has a valid point. He decides to put the rookie Genins through a special preliminary exam.

This morning I met with Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke at the bridge. I told them that I had recommended them all to the Chuunin Selection Exam and gave them applications for it. I also told them that the recommendation doesn’t force them to take the exam and they can decide weather they want to take it or not. If they do decide to take the exam, they have to sign the application and show up at the school in room 301 five days from today. And that was it, I left knowing that they would be "pre-tested" later today.

Earlier this evening, I waited for Ikura to come back with the news, he reports that all nine rookies have passed. I felt just a wee bit giddy seeing how Ikura had to eat his words about his earlier statement. Heh heh! Now its just all up to the the three to decide for themselves.
Well I'll know five days from now, in the meantime I am going to read the last chapter of Icha Icha Violence Volume 2. I wonder what's going to happen to Junko! hehehehe...

20th Entry: Lost Teamwork

It's been about a week since we have all gotten back from Wave Country. Most of the bruises and bumps we have gotten from that mission are healing nicely. Except for mine, (Zabuza's sword took a nice chunk out of me. I was told to take it easy for a bit. ) Also their has been one other issue. Naruto and Sasuke's sense of teamwork. It's been uneasy between them since the trip back. They are constantly fighting. (More accurately Naruto is constantly fighting...) He's is on an insane aggressive drive to prove himself. And Sasuke has been surlier then ever. In a way its good that they have formed some sort of competition with each other to see who's better. But on the same note this could also be troublesome.

Not to mention that since the team is back on some nice calm D-ranked missions. Naruto has been getting frustrated again.
D-Rank missions may not be the most exiting, but they are still important and needed to be done. You know, simple stuff, cleaning up litter, helping the neighbor's with their gardening, walking dogs, and so forth. Also, sigh...I just want to finish healing and get through the latest volume of Icha-Icha Paradise... It doesn't help that Naruto get overexcited and keeps overdoing things which just leads him into trouble.

After I got a bit lost this morning, I met up with my team. And just like the last few days had to try and keep Naruto from well, being Naruto. He just about fell over a waterfall today, Sasuke saved him, much to Naruto's dismay.
By the afternoon I was glad to dismiss them and head over to the Academy's office to file some paperwork and talk to Ikura
I hate meetings... Usually they talk to long and there is a lot of waiting around, but this time around it was quick cept for a bit of news. Apparently in one weeks time the Chunin Exams (mid-level ninja exams) will take place.
Hmm.. this should prove to be interesting...

19th Entry: Mission Complete!

Hey there! Sorry to keep everyone waiting! It has been well, an interesting day!
I am very proud of my team.

We have just returned from the bridge and let me just say that this was... Ahh, but I am jumping ahead too much! Let me start from the beginning.
This morning Myself, Tazuna-san, Sasuke, and Sakura arrived at the bridge to find that most of the workers have been savagely murdered. Not good, and immediately I knew who was responsible. Momochi Zabuza, just as I had suspected he was very much alive. And this time joined by his young friend, the fake hunter-nin. Zabuza tried to spook my team, but my guys surprised him as he showed how much they had grown. Sasuke quickly dispatched of the water clones that where conjured before us. He then continued by showing off some fancy footwork engaging in a match with the boy in the mask. I figured this pair up would work, while I ordered Sakura to protect Tauzuna and stay close to me.
Then the first troublesome event occurred.
The boy in the mask, which was named Haku, has some very interesting talents. In the beginning of his skirmish with Sasuke he formed seals with just one hand! That is something I have never seen before! Sasuke though remembering his training in the woods easily dodged that attack. I reminded Zabuza not to underestimate my team, but then had to quickly eat those words with the next jutsu that Haku performed. Something both truly amazing and terrifying at the same time. He forms a dome made from sheets of ice that acted as mirrors trapping Sasuke. (I was glad someone got a picture of that for later study).
Now I wasn't sure what was going to happen but I knew I had to go help him. Just as I set off, Zabuza got in my way and threatened the life of Sakura and the old man if I didn't fight him.
Sakura tries to help Sasuke by throwing him a kunai but it got caught by Haku before making it to Sasuke. In that moment of surprise Haku gets hit with shuriken.
Things seemed good. Then I just was dumbfounded...Naruto makes the NOISIEST entrance known to man!!! Sigh... Sometimes I just want to kick that kid. He had the perfect opportunity to keep hidden and be more effective in helping out Sasuke. But what does he do? He comes in like the start of the fireworks display during the Hanabi Matsuri festival!!!!
Naruto has made himself a perfect target. Idiot. Then performs his jutsu right in front of the enemy! Ugh! Has he remembered anything from the academy?!? Zabuza throws a shuriken at Naruto but Haku deflects them with his needles. Haku then says that he saved Naruto so that Haku can fight Naruto himself. Now, I am a bit worried that Haku may be too much for Naruto and Sasuke. But I can't interfere because if I go near Naruto, Zabaza will kill the others.
Haku decides to go back after Sasuke, so then the plan should be this. Sasuke fight’s from the inside and Naruto at the same time from the outside. Makes sense right?
Unfortunately, Naruto goes and sneaks up on Sasuke inside?!? SIGH....
Now they are both trapped in the ice mirrors. It's then I realized that the boy possesses a Kekkei Genkai (or bloodline limit) It's an ability that is passed on in family bloodlines from generation to generation. Much like my sharingan. And it's also impossible to copy! Now my big fear is that Naruto and Sasuke won't be able to endure this battle because of one simple fact.
They have never killed before.
I am not sure they have it in themselves to actually kill another person. And the only way they will survive is to have that killing intent. The boy Haku, has defiantly killed many before I can tell, and will have no problems doing it again.
This really left me with a big dilemma. Do I help them, risk Tazuma and Sakura's life. Copy myself with a clone jutsu, and battle it out using up a lot of chakra?
No, I decide to use the sharingan and hopefully end this quickly.
Zabuza attempts to stab my in the eye, But I deflect the blow with my other hand. He tries to egg me on about my own jutsu and brags about how he has the ultimate tool, which I find really disturbing for him to refer to the boy Haku that way. The one last thing he adds is that he has been told how to beat my sharingan. This statement worries me.
Zabuza continues to explain how during our last battle he had Haku watching. In order to figure out a counter to my sharingan. Zabuza he says, "Even if by chance I do defeat him I won't be able to defeat Haku." After that he disappears into the mist again grr.
This time around the mist is so thick no one can see anything. He figured out that the hypnotic element of the sharingan is dependent on eye contact and so now I am at a huge disadvantage. Zabuza then attempts again to kill Tazuna, I just made it to them in time to deflect the blow. But not without incident Zabuza gives me a good slice to my chest. It hurt ALOT....
And once again he disappears into the mist. Sakura was a nervous wreak, I try to comfort her a bit. And reminder her that Sasuke is an Uchiha after all. And Naruto as goofy as he is is a strong kid. Though honestly in the back of my mind I was a little concerned. But then I just decided that I would trust my team, and go and stop Zabuza once and for all. I formed a plan.
Just as I have strengthened my resolve and set off into the mist, I sense another potentially HUGE problem.
It the direction of where I believe Sasuke and Naruto are. I felt the energy of this enormous, terrible, HUGE EVIL, chakra.
One of my biggest fears, Naruto 's seal, the seal that keeps the Kyubi (nine-tails) within him is breaking. Or at least I thought so for a moment. This would be bad, REAL BAD. I waited a moment to feel out the situation, I can sense that that the seal is leaking, but not yet broken, this is good it bought me some more time. But I still have I have to act fast just in case. I pulled out a summoning scroll, and yelled out a proposal to zabuza to end this battle with one last blow.
Now I just had to hope that Zabuza would take the bait. I complete my summoning of my cute lil nin dog's that track Zabuza out in the mist using the sent of my own blood. I have him trapped. I told him off and then I decided that I was going to show off a little bit and show him my own special justu before he dies. Just as i was about to deal the finishing blow to Zabuza, something quite unexpected happened. The boy got in front of Zabuza taking the full blow of my Chidori and saving his life by giving up his own.
I was in shock. Then I was just plain angry. Zabuza just used this final act of sacrifice as another opportunity for him to kill me. Without any thought to the event that just took place. This was the last straw. I kicked him in the head followed by stabbing him with 2 kunai in his left arm, disabling that arm. Followed by a few more hits, his energy level was low. As he attempted to swing at me with his sword, I got his good arm with 2 more kunais. Now both his arms were useless.
The last strange thing happened. We were interrupted, by Gato himself who had decided that he was going to get rid of Zabuza himself along with all of the bridge workers with the employ of a mob of thugs.
So Zabuza now had no more reason to fight me. Gato walks up to Haku who is dead. Gato starts to kick his dead body. Naruto gets mad at Zabuza for not doing anything about it. Zabuza says that Haku is already dead. He had used Haku as a tool so he doesn’t have any feelings for him. Ninjas are tools. Naruto is really mad at Zabuza for not standing up for Haku. I tell Naruto to stop but he doesn't listen. Naruto yells on that Haku had really cared for Zabuza and had thought Zabuza as someone precious to him. Haku had sacrificed his life for Zabuza but yet Zabuza only thinks of him as a tool. Naruto starts to weep tears of sadness.
Zabuza finally breaks down. He tells Naruto to stop. Zabuza knows Haku was a kind person. He realizes that Haku had sacrificed a lot to fight for him. Zabuza says that Naruto is right, ninjas are humans and ninjas do have emotions. He takes a knife from Naruto and runs for Gato. Gato gets behind his men and Zabuza attacks through all of them. Zabuza is stabbed multiple times but Zabuza still is able to stab Gato multiple times in the chest. Gato falls off the bridge and into the water. Gato’s men are scared and they back off of Zabuza. Zabuza thanks Haku for everything, apologizes, and falls down.
Sasuke wakes up. Haku had purposefully not killed Sasuke from the very beginning. So he was alright, thank goodness.
Gato’s men decide to rob and pillage the village because they lost their source of money. Then the villagers show up with Inari ready to fight. This scared Gato’s men away.
Zabuza is about to die. He asks me to place him next to Haku so he can see Haku one last time. It starts to snow. Naruto says to me that Haku was born in a snowy village. It then made some sense. Later we buried Zabuza and Haku. And there we talked about how ninjas are supposed to be a tool but unconsciously suffer from this ideal just like Zabuza and Haku. Naruto doesn’t like this ideal and decides to follow his own way of the ninja with out any regrets. Interesting. Naruto always seems to say things you don't expect. Well the bridge is finally completed. And now we are headed back home!
In retrospect even though this mission turned out to be a little more than planned, i think it was a great learning experience for each of us. We have all gotten stronger and wiser. Now if only I can teach a bit of cleanliness to the two boys. The whole time in wave country their room was a mess.. Man...

Sigh..Poor Tsunami, she should not have had to clean up after them. Then I would have the no more problems. Sigh... Oh well!

18th Entry: Situation Assessment

Konoha_cop here. Ok, so instead of going on vacation orders came down for me to get to Wave Country myself and find out what's going on. Strictly information gathering and no interference. (Thank god cause I am in no condition to fight. I am a desk nin for a reason!) I position myself on high ground a fair deal away from the bridge but still in close enough range to see with the help a my nifty tele-photo lens. And with the help of a great hiding jutsu that I learned from the 3rd Hokage himself. I am completely undetectable and I was able to get some more information on the situation on the bridge firsthand.

So as mentioned before there was this crazy mist surrounding the bridge which made it hard to see, even with my equipment. I can only make out shapes and colors in some spots. The mist also has seemed to get thicker from the photos that were shown to me earlier. Also I saw the strange dome like ice structure up-close, amazing I have to say. But then I realized this could be real bad. I know that Kakashi-san and the other members of Team 7 are not the types that can perform many water and ice type jutsus. So this means that this was being used against them. This left me feeing a bit uneasy. For a short while the mist did lighten up a bit and I did manage to see the bridge builder with Sakura right next to him with Kakashi just a few steps away. He looked like he was searching for something and from what i can tell looks like he took a hit from something, because he seemed to be bleeding but not too bad. Further up the way was that ice dome which upon further inspection looks like they were being used like mirrors. Inside I can see both Sasuke and Naruto. They seem to be attacking the mirrors but for some reason they keep getting knocked down.

The mist rises again and I cant see anything. I hear Sakura scream, an a minute later I hear Kakashi yelling something about Sasuke being form the Uchiha Clan or something. Then the strangest thing happened, their was a great red glow from the area of the ice mirrors.

And this terrible, scary chill ran down my entire body. The heat of an intensely powerful chakra. One that I had felt only one time before. The Nine Tails! OMG!! I thought for a minute, was the seal breaking?
was I going to have face the thing that injured me so bad. That made me stuck as a desk nin for the rest of my life? I waited a moment looking and listening for any reactions. I can sense that the seal was leaking but had not completely been broken. I stopped shaking, then I heard Kakashi in the mist somewhere once again yelling at Zabuza to end the fight in one final blow. Right after that I heard a giant crashing sound of glass/ice breaking. It got quiet again. Then I heard barking and growling.

This could only be one thing. Kakashi summoned his nin-dogs. I have seen him do that before! So things seemed to be under control. The mist was starting to lift a bit as well. And then low and behold I got to see a very special sight. A rarely seen justu! The lighting blade, better known as "The Chidori"! A Kakashi original!!! I even managed a decent photo!

Now, here is as it stands, Kakashi and Zabuza (being held down by Kakashi's dogs) in one area. Sakura and Tazuna off to one side, and far off away from me, the ice dome is gone. I see Sasuke lying on the ground and Naruto facing the young boy Zabuza was with, a missing nin named Haku. Naruto seems to be going in to finish off the boy. At about the same time Kakashi is about to finish off Zabuza. But to my surprise the next thing I see? The boy gets in Kakashi's way, and took the blow from the Chidori meant for Zabuza. It felt like a huge shock-wave and the result was devastating (For the boy).

Zabauza used the opportunity to continue his attack on Kakashi. He didn't have much luck. At the same time Sakura makes a bee line for Sasuke, now lying on the ground. Naruto, just staring at the Kakashi battle and doesn't seem to look back towards Sakura who starts crying over Sasuke's body.
In the meantime Kakashi quickly immobilizes Zabuza's ability to yield that huge sword of his. Stabbing him with a pair of kunais in vitals points on both his arms. At this point I deem the situation over and I was going to come down and see if there was any thing I can do to help. Just then I got intercepted by a huge crowd heading towards the bridge.

Um, well...nothing much has happened. The situation is still the same. I am about to go on holiday and well, Kakashi is not back yet either. Again, I apologize. All of our shinobi seem to be either on a mission or on vacation. And I am the only one left here! And it's been crazy! I still have holiday shopping, and I really need a break. Ninja's need breaks too you know? I barely get out, being an office ninja. Kakashi travels everywhere. He LOVES to travel. He comes back with tons of photos from ALL his trips. like this...

15th Entry: Speculations and Holiday Greetings

Yes it's Konoha_cop once again!
I know everyone is eagerly waiting for Kakashi. Please bear with me until we can get back word from him.
Their has been much noise coming from the unfinished bridge structure since my last report. Reports of flames, explosions, and a lot of screaming. Which has may authorities concerned, but still fearful of entering the area while the mist is still present. The strange ice-like structure is also still standing, and Naruto was seen entering the area as well.
Not much can be done until the mist clears in order to get a good assessment of the situation.
So this leaves me at a loss of information, and I apologize.
Well, since I don't have much to report and the holidays is fast approaching. I have decided to post something a week early. Kakashi sent out his Christmas card to everyone early,before he headed out to wave country. (So on top of things that guy!)
And he let me know that it would be OK for me to post it on the journal if he doesn't get back in time for the holidays.
So might as well as well do it know, right?

14th Entry: This just in.....

Greeting Konoha_cop here with more breaking information.
There still is a strange mist surrounding the uncompleted bridge in the Wave country. Everyone has been told to stay away for their own safety. We know that Kakashi-san and Team Seven are currently present there. Also the renegade ninja Zabuza is there along with the masked boy who has been now been identified as Haku also from the village of the hidden mist.
Now authorities have also just spotted another strange occurrence at the bridge. A strange looking structure that has been described as giant pieces of ice. We have no idea what its purpose is. We can only assume is is part of some unknown justu.

In another news Naruto has been spotted leaving the bridge builders home, where Tazuna’s daughter Tsunami was the victim of a failed kidnapping. Two samurai were found tied up. Their son Inari was found unharmed at the scene.

Well, unfortunately that's it for right now. Hopefully thing will clear up soon, and we will hear from Kakashi or someone from team 7.

13th Entry: More Mist in Wave Country

Greetings!!! Konoha_cop back once again!
Shortly after Kakashi's last report and post, Intelligence received some strange messages from Wave country through various sources. There is supposedly some strange commotion going on at the location of the new bridge being built there (Tazuna's Bridge we assume). Local news and eyewitness who have fled from the scene said the their was a massacre, and that two individuals described as ninjas were present. "One with a freaking massive sword and some kid in a mask" according to an eyewitness.
One worker from the bridge who managed to escape told local authorities the two killed all the workers then just vanished. Shortly after that a strange mist appeared in the vicinity of the bridge. Most folks have been to scared to approach for fear of their own lives and now people have been told to stay away all together. Before that, one passer-by managed to take a snapshot of the bridge in it's now misty state.

It is hard to tell from the photo, but we are pretty sure that the people present are Zabuza some other unknown person, Tazuna Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi-san. Naruto seems to not be present at this location for some reason. We are currently working with local authorities to see if we can find out more, and possibly send help, but it seems the people of wave country are not very easy to deal with as far and information gathering. So as soon as i can get more information about the state of things, I will let you guys all know!

12th Entry: Trees and Heros

Well I am feeling a whole lot better now (after taking some meds that Tazuna-san gave me, but I'm about ready to take the camera away from Naruto)... I'm back to full strength and finally free of my crutches today! I have been hobbling around on one crutch the last couple of days and it just feels more bothersome than useful.
Tazuna’s bridge is almost complete. Naruto and Sasuke have finally master climbing trees using their chakra. I must say they have really impressed me with their dedication. My only wish is that Naruto would stop goofing off so much. He gave me a fright when he tried to play a joke on me and Sakura yesterday, by pretending to fall off a high branch. Afterwards from laughing so hard at his own joke, he actually did fall off. Sigh...
Later that night though, I did see a different side to Naruto at the dinner table. Inari was upset and was yelling at Naruto, and well, Naruto snapped and told him off. He said that he should stop being a victim, and quit crying like a baby. It was a bit harsh, but understandable.
So I took the chance and I went to talk to Inari, who had run outside to sulk again... I tried to explain to him, that Naruto was not trying to be mean, but trying to help. I told him how Naruto didn’t have ANY family and never had a single friend growing up. And how I have never seen Naruto complain or cry even once because of it. Naruto is always doing his best to get people to acknowledge him because he probably is sick and tired of crying. And even thought he is young, Naruto understands what it is to be strong. He probably understands how Inari feels, what Naruto said to Inari is probably something he had said to himself many times when he was younger. I hope what I said to Inari helped, and it also made me think more about my role as the leader of this team.

Ah well, it's morning now and it's time to head off to the bridge, Sasuke, Sakura and I will be accompanying Tazuna to the bridge. I gave Naruto the day off, because I think he can't move, using up all of his chakra climbing trees the night before. I couldn't even get him out of bed. Hopefully Naruto will get some rest and all will be well.

11th Entry: Kids

Yo~ I'm feeling a lot better today and decided to get up and have dinner, I gotta admit Naruto and Sasuke are doing quite well on their training from what I've seen. They both actually threw up at the table today, sigh... I'd never thought I see the day where Naruto and Sasuke would be on the same level. But I'll admit I think Naruto brings out Sasuke's good side and vice versa. Their competitiveness is actually building up good training discipline but they have to understand barfing will not help strengthen chakra hahaha. Sakura on the other hand has done quite well with her training so I have placed her with Tazuna-san on guard duty. She tells me that Wave Country is really hit bottom and that the people are struggling hard to stay on their feet. Tazuna-san believes that the bridges completion will bring hope back to the people of Wave Country. It seems that there used to be a hero once who lived here and inspired the people his named was Kaiza. He was killed by Gatoh and his henchman, hmmm... In anycase Inari-kun seemed to have lost all his hope and dreams as of most of the people here. I guess I can relate with the kid... Loosing his dad like that, ah.. maybe I'll have a chat with Inari-kun later. Naruto may be of help too, seems he's all out to prove that heros do exist to the kid. Hmm Kids... Well before I go lay down again, here's a pic of the construction site I took while I was out walking today. Oh and that pict on the top was taken by Sakura from the dinner table, sigh, looks like I still need rest...

10th Entry: Recovering...

Jyan, I'm back sorry about being late, we ran into a few complications on the way to Wave Country. Sakura told me she filled everyone in while I was unconscious, so there is no need to repeat myself. (Though I may have to go over filing report procedures with her, keeping it formal and none of the heart stuff, girls of that age... sigh). OK I need to make this brief cause I still feel pretty awful. My head is POUNDING... All I have been able to do is lay here...I couldn't even stop Naruto from taking this embarrassing photo of me in bed. Grr... I gotta get back into training myself... Actually, now that I think about it's a pretty funny shot (so was the one by Sakura). Might as well put it up.

Don't want to discourage Naruto and all, I gotta admit I like the framing. Still though, If I were able to move, I would have 1000 years of pained Naruto good...*sigh* It's been a long time since I have had to use the Sharingan, and I guess I overdid it. I've got be more careful next time. May end up in worse condition or something.

So after all is said and done, I am pretty sure that boy in the mask was not a Hunter-Nin or at least not anymore. He saved Zabuza. Hmmm, I wish I had caught on sooner and finished off Zabuza myself, but in a way it did show that Naruto and Sasuke can work together. Oh well, now I have to make sure that all of us are ready, I have a feeling Zabuza may be back. I may not be able to move much right now, in fact I have been wobbling around on crutches. It's pretty bothersome. But I can at least prepare Saskue, Naruto, and Sakura. I demonstrated to them the importance of good CHAKRA CONTROL, and with a very simple task they have to do. Climb trees, without using their hands! Now if they can master this skill it will be great. They all have amazing potential and will be very valuable shinobi once they get thru this hurdle. So far Sakura has shown the best at controlling chakra and stamina. It's very good this way. It makes it easy for me to make those other two feel shamed for being beaten by a girl, and hopefully motivate them to do better. So Far as expected aside from Sakura, Sasuke got pretty far up, here's a picture of how high he got. Looks like maybe two or three story high... Not to bad.

Though out of the three, I know Naruto has the greatest potential, I just hope he learns to focus better because well, he's been falling on his head all day. Sigh... (good thing he has a hard head). Ok I will end it here because I feel awful and I need to lie down.

9th Entry: Confirmation from the Wave Country!

OK, We finally heard back from Team 7! It turns out the bridge builder Tazuna had a hit put out on him, and has been targeted by renegade ninja. Upgrading what should have been a "C Ranked" mission to at least a "B Ranked" one. They were confronted by the "Demon Brothers" (who where dispatched by Kakashi). And then later by none other then "Momochi Zabuza!" It is reported that a battle ensued between Kakashi's Team and Zabuza and ended with assistance from an ANBU (Assassination and Tactics Special Squad or Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushi Buta in Japanese) from the hidden "Mist Village" who showed up suddenly towards the end of the battle killing Zabuza. The ANBU left with Zabuza's body and shortly thereafter Kakashi collapsed. This information was sent to us by Haruno Sakura member of team 7, (using Kakashi's laptop) who was present for the entire encounter. This is Haruno Sakura reporting for Team Seven!

Kaka-sensei has collapsed and our mission has run into some serious problems. I really do not know what to do!!! Please send help. I am starting to doubt that we are ready to take on this such a mission. Are we really qualified now to do this? We are only genin and now all this has happened. We might not be able to handle this by ourselves...*.*;;

Apologies for the freak out, I'm just really frightened. Let me start from the beginning.

We had just just left home to go on our mission. In the beginning, it was all normal. There were no real enemy encounters, Naruto was being himself (ie: stupid, dramatic, and totally uncool), and the rest of us were just on a semi-low level of alert (which is was appropriate for a C class mission). All of a sudden something crazy happened! Two ninjas attacked us! I ran to Tasuna-san's side in order to protect him. Kaka-sensei started to fight the ninjas but it seemed as if they killed him. The two then moved on to attack Naruto but he froze and <3 Sasuke-kun <3 saved him ^-^ (he is sooo cool)!! I made sure that the old man was safe (so I had no time for pictures, sorry). Mid fight it almost seemed as if it was going to be the end for Tasuna-san, Sasuke-kun, Naruto, and I but Kaka-sensei finally reappeared and captured the ninjas! It was AWESOME! Kaka-sensei is so amazing!

Naruto was poisoned a bit from a cut one of the Ninja's gave him which almost made us turn back to Konoha so that we could treat the wound. But he got all dramatic again (sigh..typical) and said that we should continue on. Luckily, no one else was injured..... but the fight with the two ninjas raised a couple of issues.

On the boat we took toward the Wave Country Kaka-sensei asked Tazuna-san the real reason he decided to have ninja's protect him. It turned out that Tazuna-san was wanted dead by a guy called Gato, who was hiring ninjas to kill him. It now became clear that this was no ordinary C class mission. This was a B-class.. or A-Class rather. Normal genin aren't supposed to be assigned these types of mission. We should have went home after hearing that, but there was no way we could leave the old man stranded. Even though deep inside I felt weird about that decision I went along with it.. at that point I figured that Kaka-sensei knew what he was doing.

We continued our trip to Wave Country by boat, it was kind cool and romantic, I got to sit next to Sasuke-kun ^-^! As we approach land we get to take a look at the unfinished bridge. We then got off the boat and started walking toward the village that Tazuna-san lives. On the way there Naruto starts being stupid throwing kunai's everywhere like the freak he is and almost killed a poor rabbit. That Naruto he's so noisy sometimes! But, sadly Naruto's obnoxious need for attention was the least of our problems. A couple minutes later, there was another attack. This time by a really scary looking guy Kaka-sensei said was Momochi Zabuza, a "missing nin" who was definitely Kaka-sensei's fighting level. We were told not to get ourselves involved with this fight. Kaka-sensei then uncovered his left eye to show what Sasuke-kun called a Sharingan. Zabuza apparently heard of Kakashi before saying that he was the ninja known to have copied over 1000 jutsus using this special eye. I never would have thought that our sensei was that cool!

I felt so helpless during the fight between Kaka-sensei and Momochi Zabuza. I tried to believe in sensei and it seemed as tho he did have complete control of the situation but then Zabuza trapped Sensei in some kind of water bubble. At that point Kaka-sensei told us to run for it, but it was clear to us that that we would just get killed if we did that anyway. I was really scared yet there was nothing I could do. Just when it seemed like all was lost Naruto and Sasuke-kun managed to free Sensei from the water bubble!! Once that was done Sensei used his "Doujutsu" to stop Zabuza. And then just as Sensei regained control of the situation and was about to finish Zabuza off a young Hunter-nin, about the same age as Naruto, Sasuke-kun, and I showed up and killed Zabuza himself. He then took Zabuza's body and disappeared. You would think that this would make us really happy (which it did for me at least) but somehow Naruto was infuriated with the Hunter-nin because he felt weak compared to him. I just don't get that.... sometimes boys can be sooo dumb when it comes to certain things! Anyway just as we started to head out Kaka-sensei froze in his tracks and collapsed right on his face!!!

As of now, Zabuza is gone but so Kaka-sensei (for the meantime). We are still here in Wave Country and there's no way of telling what's to come. There isn't much time to prepare. I don't see us completing this mission with Kaka-sensei out like this. Please send help if you can!

8th Entry: Kakashi The Sharingan User

Unfortunately we have yet to hear from Team 7 and their current mission status in the Wave Country.
We can only speculate on whether they have run into any of the "Rouge Ninjas" reported in the vicinity.
Since we have yet to here back from Kakashi-san, I thought it might be interesting to take this opportunity to fill you in a few lesser know facts about him. I was able to declassify a small amount of information on him from the Ninja Registry Office.

The Sharingan's most well known ability is to be able to memorize any technique that it has been a witness to including Nijutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu techniques. Other abilities of this very special eye include hypnosis, allowing it's user to suggest actions and thoughts to the opponent. How Kakashi obtained the sharingan eye is not known at the present time. But, his use of it has made him an infamous and well-regarded shinobi in the ninja community. It has been said that he has copied more than a thousand techniques with it, making Kakashi's arrays of techniques an exceptionally wide one. 7th Entry: Renegade Ninja's Sighted!!!

Greetings everyone, I'm Konoha_Cop, an Admin on Kakashi's Blog. Since Kakashi is en route to the Wave Country and can't update, I am here to fill everybody in on what's going on. There have been reports from our intelligence that some "Renegade Ninjas have been sighted in the outskirts of Wave Country. Some people are speculating that this might be the "Demon Brothers" or even "Momochi Zabuza" from the Hidden Village of the Mist. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm this at the present time. We are also unable to dispatch any ANBU at the moment to further investigate. Hopefully, this will not cause a problem for Team 7 who are in the nearby vicinity. My one concern is that the Mist Village has listed Kakashi-san a K.O.S. (Kill-On-Sight) Ninja. So I am not sure if it is entirely safe for his team and their client to be out. Then again, Kakashi is an elite ninja and former ANBU member himself, So I am sure he and his team can handle any problem if and when it arises... And until Kakashi arrives at the bridge builders home, we won't know if indeed the rumors are true. Thank you for your time and please feel free to ask me any questions about this journal.

6th Entry: The first couple of Missions.

Well what can I say? Team 7 has been holding up well on their first few missions. Simple stuff so far like finding lost pets, doing repairs and sorts, you know normal Genin stuff (gives me plenty of reading time ^.^). But i can see that they are getting frustrated with what they call "menial tasks" for missions, Genins today always wanting to grow up way too fast.

For instance on Tuesday Naruto gave me a tremendous headache by yelling into our PA system with, "WHY CANT WE GET A BETTER MISSION!!!!!" *sigh* That hurt... But, in a way I don't blame them, but still you have to earn you way up and pay your dues right?
Iruka and Hokage had to explain this to everyone again yesterday when Naruto threw a fit at our last assignment meeting.
Hokage calmly explained the breakdowns of A, B, C, and D type missions, and how one moves up in the ranks by experience and completing missions successfully.
Still though Naruto started to ask me about the different kinds of Ramen I have had while this whole talk was gong on (to be honest i was kind of amused heh heh). Even after this indiscretion, surprisingly enough Sandaime felt bad and assigned us a C rank mission. Bodyguarding and Escorting a man to his home in the "Wave Country" where he has been building a bridge.
Seems simple enough, but of course Naruto still is not satisfied and nearly picks a fight with our client...sigh.
So this will probably be my last entry in kohona for a bit, as we depart in the morning for the country of waves. I'll try to update once I get to the "Wave Country".
Oh and by the way, I got this security pic from the 3rd, He thought it was funny and sent it to me... (To tell you the truth so do I ha ha). Well hope you enjoy as much as I did. I gotta go pack, and also pick up the second volume of Icha Icha~ my old one got wet.

5th Entry: "Survival Training"

Well today was the big day. "Survival Training" or rather testing out the three to see if they are fit to be Konoha ninja.
The task? Simple I have 2 bells, and all they have to do is get the bells from me by lunch.
The catch? There are only two bells but three students, which means one of them, or ALL of them can fail... Though they have to realize they need to come at me with intent to kill, otherwise they will fail...

Naruto got over-excited as expected, and jumped the gun trying to get the bells from me even before i yelled start.
This was not good sign, (but he does show spirit...) The others are quite cautious and appear to be good at hiding, one of many good ninja traits. During this exercise I thought it would also be good to go over the three basic shinobi skills "Taijustu", "Genjustu" and "Ninjistu" and most of all catch up with some reading of the latest chapter of Icha Icha Paradise (known as Make-out Paradise in the US.) lol.
It was kind of fun watching while they ran around and did the typical things dumb brats would do, like splitting off and trying to get the bells from me by themselves ha ha. Lunch time came and they failed to see what the exercise was about. TEAMWORK!!!!! *sigh* I thought it was another hopeless year... Naruto foolishly tried to fight me one on one (though the several Shadow Clones he produced proved quite impressive). Sakura passed out immediately when i performed a Genjustu technique (haha girls), and Saskue while he surprised me at being able to perform the "Katon Goukaryuu" Uchiha's Fireball Jutsu at such a young age, still did not fair very well (burying him neck high was a nice bonus haha). So i failed them, and told them they should just quit even attempting to be shinobi... Needless to say they were not happy with what i said.
so i gave them one more chance at lunch time, I left them with some time to think and you know what? They surprised me and finally understood what I was trying to drill into there heads. TEAMWORK is the key to everything! and well, they passed!!
Heh heh, these are the 1st students I have ever passed! They really surprised me and the next few weeks should be quite interestingl. So finally team 7 will start it's missions tomorrow!! Now where was I, chapter 8?

4th Entry: New Students

So my new students are Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Saskue, and Haruno Sakura... My first impression? They are pretty much a useless trio. After initial introductions, most of what I had expected of the 3 was pretty much on par. Uzumaki Naruto who is quite loud, is looking for recognition, Uchiha Sasuke is obsessed over the incident of the Uchiha clan and well..., Haruno Sakura is more interested in Sasuke then being a ninja. Sigh...
I'm not sure how this group will work out. Just look at them. Is this the future of shinobi in our village?

We'll see how things fair when I test them out during "Survival Training" tomorrow. Anyways... I want to get through the next chapter of Icha Icha Paradise before morning. Need to find out what happen to Junko in chapter 6 hee hee...

Met up with Sandaime Hokage earlier to check out one of my potential student's apartment.

Found this carton of expired milk on his table. Hope he didn't drink any of it...

I am posting this late...sorry. I was helping an old woman cross the street.
Um, so I am starting this blog to see if this new semester I actually get a few students who aren't boneheads and not send back to the academy.

Later today, I am meeting with the 3rd to see one of my students living quarters. Should be interesting...
